The Full Details:

Here’s a taster of what the cake will look like…

What’s actually involved?

The cake sculpture we are creating is called,We Taste’ a 5ft female sculpture made entirely of cake baked & eaten by you!

  1. Make or buy a simple cake(s) any size, flavour, & texture. A traybake is perfect. You can include buttercream & Jam but no icing, no decorations & no cakes that require refrigerating (yes unfortunately that means no cheesecakes please).

  2. Drop off your cake(s) to The CA on Saturday 7th May. Once you’ve delivered your cakes, Artist & Designer Amanda Cotton will transform them into a sculpture cake using a mould then cover it in icing and sprinkles.

  3. Covid, Allergies & Dietary requirements: To ensure everyone’s safety we kindly ask you to read our health & hygiene guidance.

  4. Return to The CA on Sunday 8th May at 3pm in your very best clothes: During our Afternoon Tea event we’ll admire our cake sculpture, have our photos taken & EAT OUR TASTY CAKE SCULPTURE! (& Yes! you can buy a pint or two at The CA to wash the cake down). We expect the event to be roughly 2 hours.

  5. That’s it! Simple! so what are you waiting for? Let me know you're coming by signing up
